I caved and got the Tidal Hair Blow Wave Brush bundle. Some La Riche Hair Dye want to see how they compare to the Schwarzkopf live product.

Also got one of those Auckland vouchers to use on activities. Booked a squash session, and a couple of garden/sculpture walks.

I have the tidal brush tabu, loving it.

I've been super frugal lately, not feeling the massive amounts of purchases. I think the last thing I online ordered before today was a 4 pack of mini gins to try so I could figure out which flavour I wanna use my flybuys on.

I ventured out shopping today.... I really didn't buy much and I actually couldn't wait to get home. Really annoyed as I grabbed a new dressing gown and when I got home it was a different size than what it said on the hanger....ugh.
Some crave peanut butter ice cream accidentally fell into my trolley...mmmm it's really yummy. I bypassed all the easter eggs but was tempted.

Ooh yay, my Tidal bundle was shipped today.

Ultra violet and deep purple? Can't remember the names. A few shades I'm keen to try.

The only eggs I have been eating are the cadbury marshmallow half egg ones. Haven't been to a warehouse or kmart and only do click and collect from the supermarket. Have been able to limit the easter egg eating so far. Only half way through March though. Can make up for lost time later haha.

Nice Tabu....they have some lovely purples.  I've found with those dyes the longer you leave on the better the result.  They are vegetable based so won't ruin your hair. I coat my hair then put tin foil all scrunched around the bits I've dyed then apply some heat with the hairdryer....put a shower cap on and sleep with it in! Then when you wash it out do it with cold water. You can also add some to your conditioner. Would love to see your results.

Thanks for the tips Lisa. I received the potties today and they were smaller than expecting. I don't know how much to use either so i'm gonna wing it and hope for the best. I did get some hair caps, though not enough in hindsight. Leaving in overnight?! Sounds a bit dangerous. Should have enough to run couple different comparisons in terms of duration of product left in.

Lol yep I used to leave mine in overnight. It has no amonia, peroxide or PPDs. But if you're not keen on that definitely just leave it on for more than the recommended time because 15-30 is definitely not enough.

I'm hyperventilating even talking about easter eggs. I've done amazing so far but tonight might be the night ...

Will probably do my first trial run next weekend if I have time.

Easter eggs, will need to do a bit of an Easter egg shop but not craving it as much as I usually do. Progress? I don't know though haha.

Weekend spending consisted of brunch, a new mattress and twilight books and notebooks for my niece.

Me too Tabu - I still haven't bought any easter eggs. I'd like to but I'm telling myself that after the box, the tinfoil, and the plastic bag of sweets, there's very little actual chocolate in them. It won't stop me - just slow me down a bit!!  maybe a few hollow rabbits are in my future ..

I like the Lindt or Forrero rocher eggs. Has anyone tried the cadbury cream egg ice creams?

Ooooh I was so keen on trying a cream egg icecream Lisa-Lou - but my step-daughter said they didnt taste like a cream egg at all and she was so dissapointed. Bummer as I love a good cream egg. Ha my shameful secret is when I lived in Australia 20 years ago they had them on clearance for 20c after easter, my friend and I bought 50 of them! We had a them in a big bowl and ate soooooo many. There is no way I could handle that now

Hahaha I would have done the same thing if I saw them for 20 cents!

I've stocked up on vitamins and bought loads of avos but trying to curb my spending outside of that. HANGING out for an easter egg though ... I'm working loads because everyone has covid so need to stock up some choc for when my time for 7 day isolation comes.  I hope I'm well enough for eating chocolate - it really varies from person to person from what I'm seeing.

I like the little caramel eggs. My husband is obsessed with the creme egg size caramel ones. Can't find them amywhere.

Recent purchases. Emergency vet visit, all new vet prescribed pet food, a washing machine, a new mattress and base. And that's more than enough spending for awhile.

I am loving all of the amazing sales at the moment.

We went shopping early March and could not believe how empty the malls were. There were literally YSL Black Opium perfume sets and all sorts 40% off at Farmers.. Totally unheard of, they usually sell out.

Managed to get some beautiful winter clothing that was already marked down off with 50% off the lowest marked price.. I paid $17 for a jumper that was originally $130.

I just finished my first hollow egg for the year Tabu. I thought of you when I bought it. The stock levels don't look very high at The Warehouse, but I went in there in the middle of the day and there was hardly anyone in there, so maybe low stock is a good idea. There's lots of traffic but no one in the shops around here.

I would've loved a perfume in a fancy bottle when I was 12. I was also into skincare by then. I had Ponds skincare.

Yes face masks are great, both my 11 and 13 year old daughter and step daughter love them. They also love bath bombs or body wash. If they have pierced ears, little stud earrings in cool shapes are always good, as if they are small enough they can wear them to school and my two love changing them all the time :-)

I purchased the new and improved Scholl pedi foot machine today and I highly recommend it! My feet were sooooo bad from wearing scuffs and jandals. After just 1 use they are nearly back to normal. It cost $55 but totally worth it and definitely better than the blue one.

I did the fortnightly food shop. Those prices though. Well prices in general actually for goods and services have increased. Not buying much else at the moment. The occasional replacement beauty item.

Did go to the Hospice store and picked up some cards which I am stoked about.

Yes Tabu the price of everything is getting ridiculous! As for petrol let's not even go there! In saying that I bought a car this week which I'm in love with, new clothes, new car seat and new pjs for the cold weather that's hit. It's been an expensive week lol.
