With the Peeling Solution, only leave it on for 5-6 minutes the first time and only do a thin layer. More is not more in this case and the Peeling Solution can dry your skin out if you over use it.
I suggest using a fragrance free occlusive such as Hydro Boost Gel Cream (Countdown are selling it for $20 a the moment) afterwards to help lock in the moisture and stop it from leaving the skin.
Other than that, it's not a scary product at all.
The Lactic Acid is lovely too but I have halted all my acid use at the moment due to some skin allergy I seem to have developed to something.

Macs - have you tried applying your moisturiser when you skin is still wet? This has made a huge difference to me so it might help you.
There are several other things you can try such as a Lactic Acid exfoliator to help remove dead skin and soften it.
Retin A (prescription only) helps the skin normalise and turns over cells slightly faster but it takes a long, long time to see any effects and it is highly irritating so you'll need to research how to incorporate it. I don't think Dr's will prescribe it if you say you want it for anti-aging though but if you say it's for acne, no problem.
Try the two step oil cleansing method. First use an oil like Simple's Hydrating Oil Cleanser and follow up with a gentle foaming face wash to remove the oil.
Look into Hyaluronic Acid products such as those offered from Hada Labo or The Ordinary. Hydro Boost contains Sodium Hyaluronate which is a derivative of HA that might help keep the skin moisturised and plump.

I have been using this range everyday for 2 weeks now.
Morning I use Hylauronic acid and HA moisturiser
Night I use lactic acid every 3 nights, hylauronic acid, marula oil and HA moisturiser.
I have dry skin and it gets quite bad on my cheeks and nose, after 2 weeks my skin is plump, no dry patches in sight and I can't get over how soft it is. If you have skin issues and feel like you've tried everything I really recommend trying this range. I have just done another order for back ups and to try the buffet. Seriously impressed.

Lisa, it should sting less the more you use it. I still find it unpleasant to use (and I use acid toners daily) and I have to use a sheet mask afterwards to cool things down. I won't be buying it again as I much prefer RENs glycol lactic mask. That still tingles but is a lot nicer to use - which it should be at about eight times the price!
