Hi Everyone,
What were your fave skincare acquisitions of  2023? For me it would be skincare devices. Ever since beauty school for the last few years, I've been really into collecting skin care devices. In 2022, I got a decent full-time job after finishing school so started collecting as many devices as I had my eyes on. By the end of 2023, I had a good curated collection that covered my needs, and I was able to use every device fairly at some point over a month. So here's my fave skincare buys of 2023.

- Ziip GX - Had my eye on it for ages but was finally able to get it thanks to a discount code that took 25% off the price. I used it just about every day exactly 170 times before it died. Because it was faulty the site I bought it from refunded me. By that time the GX model had been discontinued and replaced with Ziip Halo. I do like my Halo however, due to problems it's in the process of getting replaced with one that isn't faulty. When I use Ziip my skin is more glowy and I have a bit more definition in my jaw. I do enjoy Ziip Halo just not the hassle of replacing a faulty item.

Dermaflash - I used to go get dermplaning done but got really fuzzy in between appointments so having my own Dermaflash really helped. It's the only exfoliation I know of to get rid of peach fuzz. And the fact that you don't use chemicals makes it suitable for my skin if it's a bit sensitive from hay fever.

Medicube Age - R Booster H - I had been looking for a tool to use for product penetration. And when I use this my skin does look more plump and glowy from the hydration. I like that I can use this with any other skincare brand. I currently mostly use this with peptide and hyaluronic acid serums but recently started using it with my vitamin C products. When use this under my eyes, it helps to plump out my fine lines. I use this more than any other tool I have, probably twice a day.

So what were your fave skincare purchases from 2023?

Nothing is worse than getting a product you are happy with to have on going problems. I boughta LED wand to help my skin to reduce sun damage and it works well but has failed me twice and has had to be replaced

Pat17 have you looked into getting an LED mask? There are heaps of good brands on the market to choose from and if you purchase from a reputable company there should be guarantees to replace or refund the item if it is faulty within the timeframe.
