I am not a young chick any more but my hands look about 10 years older than the rest of me. I have this horrible age spots so I was wondering if any one knows a good treatment or product to remove them or at least hide them a bit?  :-)
I would love to know the answer to this. I've been told to try Bio Oil which is good for most things but didn't work on my hands so look forward to further comments.

My best recommendation would be to use what you put on your face (preferably anything with anti aging ingredients like AHA's or one of those whitening type creams - I have one from olay which they sell overseas but I found online) on the backs of your hands at night after applying to your face right before bed.  Another good one is if you can find any of those clearasil/acne medication type toner pads - they usually contain ingredients which help to minimise sun damage over time - apply to the backs of your hands before your treatment at night.  Really the best suggestion though would be to take preventative measures and start applying sunscreen to your hands of find a lotion with a good spf and apply during peak outdoor exposure.

Thanks Plumpie. I never thought about putting the same cream in the back of my hands as I use in my face. I used Bio oil but I didn't see any results. I will let you know how it goes with my face cream.   :-)

hey have you tried any serums or anything?vitamin c serums are great for tackling premature aging caused from sun damage. this would be a less abrahsive form of action. VItamin c is nourishing for this skin if you find yourbhands are looking a bit 'crepey' it helps inhibit the melanin production in our skin as well as inhibiting the sins uv rays. By using some form of vitamin c cream or serum youd be helping prevent further damaging. Otherwise you are looking at more expensive alternatives such as IPl etc X

I have found the best option is to invest in a handcream with spf and apply that before you leave the house or go outside as many times as you can remember or if you are going to be outside for a given length of time take it with you in your purse or wear gloves. I use Natio's Wellness SPF handcream it's about $15 at Farmers so maybe a bit pricey compared to the supermarket. But for protecting my hands from long term damage it's worth it. Another one that I heard is really good is the Body Shop's Wild Rose Handcream it does smell amazing but it does cost a bit more.
