Is it just me or does anybody else suffer from this? My hands and feet are so dry that no amount of lotion helps relieve the dryness. Does anybody have some advise and maybe recommend some products that I could try?

Have you tried Nivea's creme in the blue tin? I don't get dry feet but the Nivea Soft in the white container (whipped and lighter version of the blue tin) is amazing for moisturising my hand and cuticles. The blue tin is meant to be more hydrating so if definitely check it out and see if it helps you out. It's readily avaliable at the supermarket and is pretty cheap for a hydrating moisturiser that will go a really long way.

Heyy.. for me soaking feet in warm water with a bit of oil in it (any oil-olive, coconut, etc) and then as soon as you take them out..wipe them gently and immediately moisturise (while still a weee bit moist!) will a heavy mositurizer/balm/any oil and then putting socks over them. You'll wake up with amazing feet.
For hands, mositurising after doing wishes/laundary and hand washing helps. I love aveeno hand cream for that!
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour protectant is an amazing balm that can be used everywhere. It smells strong, is very thick and locks in mositure. Hope that helps!

I could imagine your feet would feel super soft after soaking and moisturising, especially in soft socks over night. Kmart stocks a whole heap of cheap but great quality bed socks which are so soft and cosy, especially on those chilly winter nights ;)

Thanks Hun. Try the foot soak. it's great. and if you have smelly feet, few drops of tea tree oil will help curing the problem. It kills bacteria :)

Weleda Skin food (available from health stores) is fabulous! I drench my hands & feet in it in the winter and it is wonderful, super super hydrating & smells divine!

I find using a really good natural shower gel/soap helps.. i used to get really bad dry skin and eczema actually brought on from a lot of beauty products.. Also i make sure i dont use bare hands washing dishes etc.. Thats a killer - especially in winter.

I had really dry hands and then the first thing I would look at is the soap you use to wash your hands. I switched from a cheap bar of soap to a SLS free unscented liquid soap it may cost a bit more $$ but it's made a huge difference, that and wearing gloves whenever I clean or wash dishes. Lastly amping up my handcare, using a scrub on my hands a couple times a week at night before bed helps it better absorb the handcream and products I apply to time. For feet I just use a pumice daily in the shower.
